The Cottage at Acorn is located in the Heart of the Ouachita Mountains. The Cottage is a double cylinder block mother-in-law suite with stained concrete floors, pine ceilings and vintage decorations. Walking distance from a playground, walking track, health clinic and Veterans Memorial Park There are 2 entrances to The Cottage. Please use the Veterans Memorial Park Entrance. An outdoor covered patio makes a good sitting area. And only 4 miles from Mena! Come stay with us.
Full one room studio cabin overlooking a small pond along a private road with a heart shaped jacuzzi tub made for two. The perfect private, romantic getaway. No tv or WiFi (most cell phone do get service). Pets are welcome, but there is no fencing in the area so pets should be kept on a leash when out and about, and please keep pets out of the pond. no outdoor fires, hunting, fishing, or shooting on property. Lots of space for walking and property is adjacent to the National Forest.
The Storybrook Cottage is a 2 king bedroom 2 full bathroom cottage residing in in the Ouachita Mountains at Stonehill Cottages. The Farmhouse Cottage is on a 240 acre property that includes an 11 acre spring fed mountain lake known as Bethesda Lake, that is exclusively available for use by Stonehill Cottages guests. Fishing, swimming and kayaking (kayaks provided)! Private creek swimming holes coming Summer 2020! On Site ATV trails and ATV rentals also coming in Summer 2020! Near the lake you will also find some natural springs that were "developed" back in the 1800s. The Storybrook Cottage is located on paved roads and is about 4 miles from the city of Mena yet sits on property that borders the US National Forest. You can ride into the Wolf Pen Gap ATV trail system from our cottage location. The Storybrook Cottage has a fire pit, a wrap around porch, fully equipped kitchen and utility room, wonderful views of the Ouachita Mountains, a queen sleeper sofa and an inflatable bed as well to add extra sleeping space. There is a world of outdoor activities nearby and in the general area - hiking, ATV riding/rentals, state parks, rivers, lakes, creeks and the list goes on and on.
