Half Day (3 hours)- $250
Full Day (6 hours)- $400
(20% gratuity recommended)
These guided trips are land-based: we will be fishing from the shoreline. Clients will meet me at a local bait and tackle shop where I will greet them with all the tackle, rods and reels needed for the trip. The clients will then follow me to canals and lakes in Miami, where I will describe the techniques used to catch the elusive Peacock Bass. All fish are encouraged to be catch and released and I will photograph the clients catches for them to take with them.

I know the canals and lakes of Miami like the back of my hand. The clear waters offer some excellent sight fishing opportunities. Our guide was professional and knowledgeable . The fishing exceeded our expectations. My girlfriend and I both caught A lot of fish ! We stopped counting around 20 and they were good size and great fighting bass . I highly recommend the peacock bass fishing you will catch fish !

Byron is a legit angler and scientist/Professor of fishing the South Florida Canal system.
I would say it’s like a hunting and fishing trip combined. I consider myself a true waterman and know when someone has game, Byron is worth the money.
He put us on fish and guided us through while observing the pre spawn in a cold snap. (Not the most opportune time), it was very cool to observe the male and female peacock 🦚 in the natural habitat. He also cared for the fish well,so it makes perfect since for him to be finishing out his med school:) Good guy, great guide, he will be a great surgeon someday, so book a trip to catch a peacock of a life time and help get us another good dr through school!
He will post some pics of our fish!!! We caught one, a few females and a humper & 1 angry male 7lb stud. Byron was really awesome at what he does. 100% Worth it.

This trip was amazing! At first I was hesitant about costal fishing vs deep sea fishing, but during this hurricane season I was glad to be on the coast. We literally caught 16 to 20 fish between the two of us. And they were beautiful varieties I learned about from our insightful and patient host. My big one got away from me and Byron was more disappointed than I was .Wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend.

Byron immediately put us on big fish! He was very knowledgeable in every aspect if you’ve never done this type of fishing before. I highly recommend booking this experience with Byron. I had a blast and caught huge fish. He personally taught me exactly how this fish thinks and reacts and that’s exactly what I wanted:)
