I will welcome my guests at Bosco de' Medici Winery, in Pompeii. We will start together an unforgettable experience, through nature, wine and history. We will first visit our "experimental vineyard", with an amazing view on Mt. Vesuvius. I will explain them how the wine process starts: from the viticulture. I will go back to the ancient Roman wine making tradition! We will then continue visiting a Necropoli from 79AD, a sort of Roman cemetery, recently discovered. We will finish our tour inside our wine cellar, equipped with steel silos, barrels and terracotta amphorae. Finally, you will sit and enjoy a wonderful wine tasting, like Romans used to. You probably already know that "Bacchanalia" were Roman rituals, inspired to Bacchus. He was the god of agriculture and wine. Are you ready to experience this ancient Roman ritual?

I am passionate about wines and gastronomy. Foreign languages student at University, I'm passionate in different cultures and traditions. I've grown up in the Palomba family of Pompeii, which thaught me love for nature and animals. Thanks to my knowledge and love for this territory, I want to convey to my guests my same passions. I will guide them in a wonderful wine tour, I will explain them our winemaking tradition and the history of this place, in order to let them discover our wines and our food passion.
