#StopAsianHate

It was a great opportunity to know more about Chinatown, a place we take for granted for delicious and affordable food. There is so much history to know, this tour definitely got us thinking more about the Chinese American culture and current events.

This is equally fun for a local as it a visitor. If you’re a foodie, this tour will be extra special thanks to the long list of restaurant recommendations you get at the end. Our guide, Chloe, was knowledgeable about the area and history. We learned a lot not only about the neighborhood but about the history of Chinese Immigrants in general. You’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of Chinese-American people and culture. The tour is 100% outdoors with ample room for keeping distance from others.

Chloe was a lovely host, she cares about every single guest no matter how big the group is. This was my first time in Chinatown and me and my girlfriend stayed in the neighborhood walking around more even after the experience using the guide that she gave us after the tour. Book this experience, you won't regret!

A fantastic tour that goes into not only the history of Chinatown but also the history of the Chinese in America. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to many stops relating to both topics. She is really sweet. I got lost on the way to our meeting spot and she was kind to call and give me directions. And she waited for me too before starting out. At the end of the tour, she provided a list of restaurants and shops in Chinatown to see on our own.

I originally chose this tour because I wanted to learn more about the culture and history of Chinatown and the history of Chinese immigration to the U.S. The tour did not disappoint. There was history all the way back to the first Chinese immigrants and the laws surrounding immigration at that time. We also got to see the oldest shops, restaurants and community centers in Chinatown. Our guide Chloe knew the area incredibly well but also came with a slide deck to show pictures of historical chinatown and show how it has changed over the last 150 years. Afterwards, Chloe sent us recommendations for the best Chinese food in our neighborhood as well as in Chinatown. I would highly recommend this tour.
