Hello ! My name is Cécile from Rennes, I’m 25 years old. The region of the crepe. I used to sell crepe in a market and I am currently head chef in a central london creperie.

My goal is to share with you my passion for crepe through this experience.
Yes ! You will discover or rediscover in a funny way how to make authentic brittany galettes/crepes.

So, I propose to you to realise crepe and galette.
But what is the difference between both?
The galette (without gluten) is garnished with a saltery product while the crepe is with sweet one.

So how will this 2 hours be organized?
After a short presentation of everybody, we will start the practice:
We will realize two mixes.
The realisation of galette will be done with a Rozelle (this small ustensil in form of T for spreading out the mix) on a Billig. I will initiate you with an easy gesture, it will be easy for you to do it at home in a pan ! :)
Everybody can take his time until the perfect galette (or near).
When all the galette is ready, we will eat.
After that, we will prepare the crepe and eat the crepe as a dessert (miam miam).

If you want to share your realisation with your family or friend, you can take somes )crepes/ galettes and the end of this experience. (if there are still some).

This lesson will be in Covent Garden on a famous London creperie.

When I arrived in London, I immediately want to share my culture via this culinary art which is the crepe.
Currently, what I enjoy the most is also my job : I am Head Chef in a creperie in Covent Garden.
My grandmother sold crepe also ; passion is genethique!
