You'll learn how they're different to American/NYC bagels (so many differences!), as well as lots of fun info all about breadmaking and working with yeast. Then, let's bake up a batch of homemade bagels - you'll be surprised at how easy it is!

I'm the founder of the Lincoln Apartment Bakery here in Montreal, I'm also the host the TV baking show Flour Power, now airing all over the world, and I'm the author of The Lincoln Apartment Bakery cookbook! I've been baking for three decades and teaching for ten years, and I absolutely LOVE teaching people all about the science and art of home baking. I promise you'll learn something (if not a whole lot of things) you didn't know before the class!

We did this for a friends 30th birthday and we all absolutely loved it!! Jessica was so accommodating and helpful, especially to novice bakers! She made us all feel so welcome and comfortable and we will definitely all be baking together again sometime soon! Would 100% recommend for any family or friends virtual activity!

I have never been to Montreal before but I keep hearing about their bagels. So, if I can’t travel during the pandemic, why not just make them at home?

Me and my fiance really enjoyed this class! Was great to get a better understanding of baking, Erin explained everything from how yeast works to different flours! It was easy to follow and a great way to learn something new! We are now hooked and planning our next batch of bagels this week :)
