We will meet near the covered market. You will have time to buy fruits or vegetables for the picnic and I will make you taste Socca (sort of salty crêpe made from chickpea flour). A little climb to the Old Quarter "Le Suquet" will allow us to get a large view on the bay and the city. We will then go down to the port to take the ferry to Sainte-Marguerite Island and spend a few hours in its beautiful landscapes. We will me make a complete tour of it and I'll show you the historical vestiges that are still remaining on the island. According to the weather, you will have time to sunbathe or even get into the crystal clear water. Around noon, we will find a nice spot to picnic (don't forget to bring it !) and I will make you taste local specialties. After picnic you will be able to stay as long as you want on the island but do not miss the last boat !
I have worked a few years for a tour operator specialized in hiking and I like to promote the city I live in. Not only for its Croisette, its film festival or its luxury boutiques but also for its Old Quarter and the beautiful islands just off its coast. As I love to meet locals while I'm travelling, why wouldn't I do the same with you when you come to visit us ?
