After picking you up at your accommodation, a short drive will take us to Chipinque Park where we will hike for about 1.5 hours. At sunset time, we will have break at a great spot for pictures. At dusk, we will use headlamps to aid our hike.

We will hike at Chipinque Park, which is a natural park at San Pedro Municipality. Chipinque is a popular recreational place, where locals enjoy practicing all kinds of outdoors sports, from mountain bike to yoga.

The sunset hike in Chipinque Ecological Park was really special. The first part was steep but I needed some cardio after sitting in a conference all day long. The view at the top was well worth the effort and I felt very accomplished finishing the rugged trail with my head lamp to guide me!

Once in a lifetime opportunity—unless I find myself in Monterrey again, in which case I will do it again! The climb up and down is challenging (and somewhat cold in February), so make sure to wear good hiking/running shoes and prepare for many stairs and rocky surfaces. Amazing views and Polo is a wonderful and attentive guide. Thank you Polo!

Arranged this trip with a group of friends at a conference downtown. Both of our guides were very knowledgeable and spoke impeccable English, having lived abroad. We were provided with water and a snack and excellent information throughout the hike and drive. A lot of uphill to begin and one very vertical descent at the end but wirth it for the beautiful views!
