Your blacksmithing adventure will include three hours of hands on instruction as you create your very own masterpiece.
Your experience will start with a brief orientation to The Forge at Quiver Full Farm. During this orientation time we will make sure each participant is dressed and prepared with all necessary equipment to have a SAFE forging experience. We will be working with equipment that reach temperatures greater than 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. This experience requires participants to be attentive and be able to physically exert themselves. We will have all participants sign a safety liability waiver before starting. If you are under 18 years of age you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate.
Jeremy will introduce you to all of the equipment that you will be using while creating your forged piece. He will give
detailed and guided instruction on how to use these tools. From there you will choose one of four projects to create. Jeremy will be there to guide you, assist you, and maintain a safe working environment while you create your masterpiece.

As a seventh generation native of Madison County, NC I have had the opportunity to grow up in an area full of mountain tradition. I have always had an interest in things of times past and have grown a passion for the art of blacksmithing. I am proud to be raising my family on a small homestead farm in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains.

The Forge at Quiver Full Farm is located in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains just 25 minutes north of Asheville, NC.
You will have the opportunity to explore our 27 acre homestead. Blacksmithing is only one piece of the unique experiences we have to offer. We have a family milk cow, bees, goats, horses, gardens, beautiful antiques tobacco barns, and plenty of wildlife to make this a memorable experience

We had a wonderful experience forging with Jeremy. He is knowledgeable and gives you all the tools and guidance needed to complete your chosen project. He gives you space to work it out yourself and he makes it come together in the end for a beautiful piece you can take home. He took extra time and did not rush us during completion. He was fun to talk to you. We will remember our experience every time we look at our pieces. Don’t hesitate to learn something new with Jeremy at Quiver Full!

Unbelievable experience! My girlfriend and I weren’t sure what to expect but it turned out to be an amazing time. You get to pick from a large variety of designs and ideas. Then he lets you do everything yourself but is right there to help or answer any questions along the way.

I booked this experience as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and he said it was the best gift he ever received! Jeremy was such a kind and knowledgeable host who is very passionate about what he does. He let my boyfriend make a hammer, even though it is not typically something made during his blacksmith classes and required some extra steps. He even let us stay a bit late to ensure we had the time to finish our products. Seeing the robust chickens, farm cat, and beautiful antique tobacco farm all contributed to this unique experience. We’d love to come back again!
