We will collect you both from your accommodation and take you to a beautiful and secret location near Loch Ness with celtic rings and altar where dressed in traditional Scottish dress I will explain this full celtic ritual of handfasting. After the traditional gaelic introduction the rest of the ceremony will be in english and I will join your hands together and you will repeat the old vows of binding from long ago. You will be offered the chance to recite your own vows after this if you wish. After the ceremony you can relax with your loved one and a romantic and decadent Scottish gourmet picnic and drinks complete with fire, rugs, blankets, crockery etc. We will then return you to your selected inverness destination.

This is not a legally binding ceremony and available for lovers, married couples, same sex and mixed sex couples alike.

I booked this as a surprise for my girlfriend. We recently got engaged on Halloween and I thought the hand fasting would be a lovely gesture for us to be blessed. Kacey and James are such an amazing lovely and friendly couple. They had the most romantic setting in a secluded area. There was a lovely fire pit going when we arrived and a picnic bench area to sit and enjoy some drinks. The views over the mountains are breathtaking and we fell so lucky with blue skies and a warm sun in November. The ceremony is heartwarming and we found it so emotional. Having to chance to say some special words to your other half during it was kindly thoughtful. Then the home cooked 3 course meal after was a belly buster and so tasty! Plenty of drinks. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the moment as it really was a beautiful experience we will never forget. We think you shld build a yurt/wigwam/Shepard hut, so we could have stayed all night ha thanks again Nicki and Mel

This was a wonderful, romantic experience. Kacey and Jamie were so welcoming and the ceremony was beautiful, something we will never forget.
The food was amazing (especially the soup)and there was plenty of it.

Kacey and Jamie provide an amazing experience. Picked up from our accommodation and taken to their amazing location. Felt personal and they really looked after us. The ceremony was beautiful and was relaxed and fun. The food and drink provided was also brilliant. The atmosphere with the fire and the music was perfect.
