First off ALOHA!!! I will start our day with learning the true meaning of aloha and where surfing evolved. Next we will witness and be part of connecting to our mana (energy) with a permission oli (Hawaiian chant). Then we will go over safety, land lesson on how to stand up, fall, surfing etiquette and the best part having fun. Then we will take off on the perfect wave just for you! In the pristine waters of Maui.

Aloha, my name is Lolo! Born and raised in Hawaii, I have a deep connection and respect for the ocean and my Hawaiian culture. I have over 30 years experience in all ocean sports especially: surfing, fishing, diving and kayaking. I’ve been teaching surf lessons on Maui for the last 20 years and own a surf school.
E hele mai (come with me), as I share with you my ‘ike (knowledge) and show you how to honor Moana ( ocean/ sea) and enjoy it’s beauty in a safe, fun, interactive way.

Surf lessons will be primarily located at Kamehameha Iki park, also known as break wall a world famous surf spot. There are a variety of different surf breaks we could venture to as well.
