Get a Gangnam style look with me at home. In this experience, you’ll get an introduction to K-beauty and how to do simple and natural looks with your own products. We’ll also use this as an opportunity to meet different people from around the world, sharing our beauty tips and hacks with one another.
K-beauty is getting popular worldwide, so I’ll start with a brief introduction to K-beauty. After a short ice breaker, we’ll cover the basic steps of Korean skincare, such as seasonal skincare and tips based on your skin type. Then we’ll do a simple & natural makeup look step by step following my lead.
During the makeup session, I will give you overall consultations on products and tools as well as how to mix the colors to make “my-face-but-better” while doing point make up. Guests can show their daily items and are free to recommend or question each oth

Really engaging! My daughter said that both teachers were very nice and that she would want to work with them again. They were encouraging and accommodating, adjusting to my daughter's taste in music and her ability. Highly recommended, especially in these non-travel Covid days, as a way to 'visit' and experience another culture.

This was a very fun class! Cyoung was very friendly and personable, and tried to answer all the questions I asked. She checked out the products I have and gave great personal advice. One hour went by so fast! If you are interested in K-beauty, take this class and you'll be happy you did. :)

This class was fun and informative! Cyoung is very friendly and knowledgeable. Korean or asian skin care in general seems a little bit intimidating to me cause there seems to be a lot of things needed. Cyoung simplified it and shared which products she found effective. She is also very funny. Will definitely take another class in the future! :)

My daughters and I started the year fresh thanks for Cyoung's wonderful "your face but better" online class. We now have an easy routine that enhances our skin without plastering it with heavy products. Cyoung was the perfect hostess, so patient and positive. She managed our setup, communicated perfectly (excellent English), shared cultural insights, and encouraged us at every step. She also very graciously set a special time for our private class to accommodate our time zone. By the end, we felt as if we had connected with a friend and made plans for another class! A wonderful virtual learning "trip" that introduced us to a new location and concepts at a time when we cannot travel. Highly recommended, excellent value and a wonderful mom-daughter activity!
