Welcome to the allure of a pied de terre just outside of San Francisco, close enough to enjoy the excitement of the City, yet far enough to relax in the calm of clean air and quiet surroundings. This is a unique and comfortable haven, perfect for a writer, visiting business person, mature student or a couple on vacation. It is an exquisite newly designed studio apartment which features everything you might need for a visit. Here you can expect to be inspired, or to relax, undisturbed. It is perfectly suitable for stays up to 2 months.
The private entrance, leads upstairs to your own tranquil quarters. It features the view through a picture window. From it you can see out across the town to the bay and hills beyond and watch the ships sail by in the day, the twinkle of San Rafael lights at night. There is a lovely wet bar/hospitality kitchen. The appliances are limited; a quiet compact refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, and blender (no burners). The attached bathroom (shower, no bath) has a high view to the greenery of the back yard. Also provided is cable TV and cable internet (wireless or wired - as you wish).
The suite is located in the peaceful neighborhood of Gerstle Park, 10 blocks from the center of downtown San Rafael, and less than 5 minutes drive to the 101 freeway and a Whole Foods. San Rafael itself features a host of restaurants, coffee shops and a repertory movie theater, as well as a Thursday evening downtown Farmers Market. In the neighborhood there is a lovely park, and open space behind it for casual hiking, It is perfectly situated to combine day trips to the wine country, and ventures in the City, the beaches, mountain hikes or biking, as well the towns of west Marin and Sonoma.
Less than two miles away is the precious town of San Anselmo, and a mile beyond that is the colorful town of Fairfax, Gateway to West Marin. In the other direction, about two miles away is Dominican University, and in yet another direction, less than two miles away, just over the hill, is College of Marin.
What makes this dwelling unique is the fact that it tastefully combines the best of modern convenience with comfort. It is specifically designed for the guest, functionally compact but feels very spacious in feel because of the large view window, which bathes it in light.
Guests are welcomed with a bowl of organic fruit and nuts and mineral water for the first night, as well as the makings of coffee or tea for a few days.

The daily price is as stated. This is as absolutely low as it can be set. There is in addition, a 5% discount on the daily price.
So the price is non-negotiable.
If the price seems considerably higher than the discounted daily price it is due to the Airbnb fees and the Occupancy taxes and fees that Airbnb lays on top of the daily price.
