El Medano area is a destination for many fans of surfing and windsurfing, with several kitesurfing schools for those who want to experience new sporting sensations.
El Medano is located at the side of Montana Roja, natural charm of the south of Tenerife. At the base of the mountain lies a beautiful stretch of sand that forms the Playa Tejita, one of the most beautiful beaches of the south of the island.
A relaxing 40-minute walk from our house takes us to the Playa Tejita, crossing the village of El Medano.
The village is just a few minutes from Tenerife South Airport, just a few kilometres from the famous resort Of Los Cristianos and Las Americas, but sheltered from their tourist frenzy overwhelming atmosphere, and is well connected to the rest of the island through numerous buses that takes you in every direction of the island.
