Country retreat with ensuite rooms in the very heart of Exmoor National Park in the picturesque village of Exford. We are tucked away in a peaceful secluded position within our own attractive gardens. Enjoy the sweeping south facing views from our garden seating areas. Two country Inns and tea rooms just 5 minutes stroll into the village, perfect! Excellent location for walking, biking & soaking up the tranquil ambiance & nature. See the wild Exmoor ponies & red deer. Bike lock up/Wifi use 24/7

Light and airy shabby chic, boutique style king bedded EN-SUITE bedroom in quiet location. (En-suite has a walk in shower) TV and a selection of teas and coffee provided. Small table and two comfy chairs to relax in. Silent mini fridge. Continental breakfast in room if desired. £6.00 per person. Please email me if you would like breakfast.
A full English breakfast is available at Exford tea rooms between 8.30 am and 12 pm.....(Large full English with toast, tea or barista style coffee £9.95 per person.) (5 minute walk)

We are adjacent to Coombe Lane which is part of 'the samaritain way'. The lane leads up to Dunkery Beacon which is the highest point in the south west of england. Exmoor offers fantastic scenic scenery. Great for walking, rambling, mountain and road biking too. (My husband is a mountain and road biking enthusiast so can give you best advice!) We also have parking on our own property and a secure place to keep bikes. You have access to our large garden with seating areas that incorporate fabulous views.

The quaint village of Exford has a traditional village green and a village shop where you can purchase a snadwhich or pastie etc. We are happy to offer advice on all the best places to enjoy on the moor and coast and best places to eat. In our village we have two Country Inns and a tea rooms (the tea rooms being under new ownership and opened Easter 2018). Our guests are giving us great feedback about their experience at the tea rooms, which are open from 8am to 4 pm daily. We are within easy access to other quaint villages. This is a place away from the normal hussle and bussle of city life. Instead, enjoy the woods, streams, hills, rivers, heathlands, wildlife and sea within easy reach.
