Thanks for your honest review and comments defending us like "much better than, probably, 90% of New York areas". As our first guest that checks in the same afternoon when our long term tenant boarded her flight back to China, you were understanding and appreciative of our efforts to make it as clean as possible for you to use. You are also right in pointing out " VERY typical for New York - 80% of places I've stayed at are like that". Since you are getting the whole house instead of living together with us in our own residence, with only one third of the typical price range of hotels in the same upscale area, I understand it far exceeds your original expectation. As you already saw in the pictures, it is an old city house in a century old neighborhood beside a busy metropolis subway station, not a country house most people live in. We were glad to host you and happy to let you know about our improvements in every aspect you mentioned, including the fridge which stopped working after you moved in.
