Set in the delightful Suffolk countryside, Strawberry Hill is surrounded by fields so has magnificent views across the Blyth valley. Wenhaston is just a ten minute drive from Southwold with its Blue Flag beach, pier, lighthouse, shops and restaurants. Drive inland and within ten minutes you are in the traditional market town of Halesworth.
Enjoy luxury and comfort in the tranquility of the countryside, watching the magnificent sunrises and sunsets, relaxing in our spacious lounge or garden.
I have one double bedroom with newly refurbished shower room en suite.
Also a large modern lounge/dining room for your use, where there is another TV and plenty of working space. This leads into a conservatory with comfortable seats. Venture further and you are welcome to stroll or sit and relax in the garden. At breakfast time the courtyard by the pool is the place to enjoy the morning sun. The hammock by the pond is perfect for coffee time, while the seats in the corner by the front door catch the last evening rays of sunshine.
We serve continental breakfast (wherever you choose!), but full English is also available to order at a small extra cost.
Our solar heated pool is usually beautifully warm by the end of May until the end of September. You can book hourly slots and we ask for a small donation towards its upkeep.
After a day of exploring, relax and unwind in our garden, conservatory or guest lounge, with a pot of tea or coffee and homemade cake. ..or maybe work up an appetite by having a swim!
Check-in time may be flexible - please contact me if you need alternative arrangements.
Guests are free to come and go as they please and to interact with us as much or as little as they wish. We are always interested in chatting to guests and love meeting the wide variety of people who come to stay in our B&B.
We will be pleased to advise you on local pubs and other facilities nearby.
Strawberry Hill is literally in the middle of a field with a long drive up from the country road. However it is only a five or ten minute walk into the centre of the village,
We have plenty of parking at the house.
Sorry, extra guests cannot be accommodated.

I love living in our pink house on the hill in Wenhaston. I spend a great deal of time in my large garden where I grow vegetables and fruit as well as flowers. It's great to share the fabulous surroundings with my guests. I also enjoy swimming in the sea at Southwold and in our solar heated enclosed pool.
Living here is like being on holiday all the time!
