Eva’s Guest Haus is a one-of-a-kind stunning jewel box located in the heart of Fredericksburg’s Historic District, just two blocks off of Main Street. A light, unhosted breakfast is included in your stay.
This beautiful property has it all - elegance, privacy, and proximity to all of the best that Fredericksburg has to offer.
Originally built in 1847, the Sunday Haus (not part of the accommodations) was called the John Jakob Peter Haus and stayed within the same family for more than 70 years. In recent years, the gorgeous guest haus was added to the main house, creating an open, luxurious and comfortable suite for guests. Furnished with amazing antiques and amenities such as a fireplace and cable TV, Eva’s Guest Haus is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
This lovely home includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cozy sitting room, and a full kitchen, and can accommodate up to four guests.
With four poster beds, luxurious linens and antiques, the bedrooms exude romance. Through the bedroom or living room doors, you will find an immaculate private back porch and yard. The bathrooms are found next to the bedrooms. The first bathroom has a shower, and the second has a bathroom with an antique claw-foot tub and shower attachment. Additional amenities include WiFi access throughout, a gas fireplace in the living room, and a private backyard.

*Children under the age of 17 are not allowed at this property due to safety hazards associated with an unfenced pool nearby.
We’re excited to inform you that this unit utilizes a comfortable style of bed-making known as Triple Sheeting. Triple Sheeting is proven to be more hygienic and is used by five-star hotels around the world. It consists of a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, a blanket, and finally a decorative top sheet.
Due to this change, the pictures for this home may not accurately represent the bedding that will appear during your stay. This has not affected any other amenities or the amount of beds available.
Parking Notes: One small to medium sized car can park in the driveway. Street parking is also available for additional guests or larger vehicles.
Damage Waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
