Stylish chalet Zouche is located literally at the foot of the slopes located in the little village of the Chinaillon, in the Grand Bornand ski resort. To the rear of the chalet, which is south facing, there is a 5 metre wide terrace. This attracts the sun from early morning to late in the afternoon and is therefore a brilliant sun trap for sunbathing even in the depth of Winter!
The evening sun can be appreciated on the front balcony also which overlooks the village and is ideal for"apres-ski' drinks or soaking in the sweeping views looking up towards the Col de la Colombière (a regular feature on the Tour de France route!).
The chalet is equipped and furnished for up to 15 people. It has three floors and is 175m². On the ground floor the garage area has been turned into a dedicated ski fitting room with boot warmers, benches & ample space to store your skis or bikes uin the Summer. Access is made easy thanks to a keycode lock allowing people to come & go without the need for keys! Along from the ski room area there are 2 shower rooms with toilets and a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a twin beds, a set of bunk beds & a TV with DVD player. The other has 2 sets of bunk beds.
On the first floor there is the living area with a fully equipped kitchen that has a dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. It is an open plan kitchen and you have the dining area with a big table that seats over 15 people & a flat screen TV with DVD player & access to UK Freeview TV. The spacious lounge has 3 large comfy sofas and a wood burning stove (the logs are provided). The is a larder, pantry room with an extra fridge and a separate toilet on this floor.
On the top floor there are 3 bedrooms, 1 double, another with a double and a single bed & the last one has twin beds. You have 2 bathrooms one of them has been newly refurbished. Each of them has a toilet so you have a total of 5 in the chalet!
The chalet has a broadband internet router with free Wifi, an outdoor Weber BBQ, a pingpong table and outdoor tables, chairs & parasols to be able to enjoy the outdoors!
This chalet has the advantage of being at the foot of the slopes and only 200metres from the Chatelet and Floria chairlifts where the main ski schools have their rdv points. It is less than 5 mins on foot to the main street (ideal for those morning baguette runs) so the location is truly ideal.
Extra services include full provision of linen (sheets, bath towels, hand towels, bath mats, tea cloths), as well as the inclusion of all rates and charges including the local tourist tax.
