We appreciate the review and feedback.
This stay was a group of 10 young people from California staying for four nights. Unfortunately, it does not seem that our listing or direct messages to him were read. We strive to meet and exceed the needs of our guests.
To quickly address his disappointments:
1. Our standard supply is a towel for every guest, hand soap at every sink and at least two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. Based on his feedback, we will re-evaluate that supply to better suit our guests. Excessive use of those supplies will continue to be the responsibility of the guests.
2. We do have a strict no smoking policy. It’s written on our listing and was accepted in our rental agreement. If you smoke, we recommend booking a different rental property that allows smoking.
3. Our check-out procedures are standard for the area and very simple. On average, they take about 10 minutes to complete. These instructions are made available to all guests before and after booking and are included in our rental agreement.
4. We do ask that the trash be taken with the guest upon check-out. The landfill is 5 minutes from the cabin and there is no charge for dumping. You will find it a standard practice for the area because of the remote location. This information is shown before booking.
Our cleaning fee includes the cleaning of toilets, showers, tubs, sheets, making beds, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, supplies, etc. It covers our costs and is standard for the area.
Airbnb charges and collects the service fees and they are non-refundable. Hosts receive no part of Airbnb service fees.
Unfortunately, all of the disappointments could have been avoided by reading the listing before booking.
