Lovely, peaceful getaway home in the woods bordering thousands of acres of state land (Philips Creek State Forest), 10 minutes from Alfred University. Swim and fish in spring fed pond in the summer, cross country ski on groomed trails in winter. Property has 35 acres, right across from world famous Pollywogg Holler (artistic creation of Bill Castle- open to the public Wed and Sun).
This is a simple home with beautiful views, including reflections off the pond. The deck out the front door is steps from the pond. A creek flows through the property and there are walking trails throughout. The state land has miles of groomed trails, including a horse trail, directly next to this property. The house has all the amenities and is nicely decorated and clean, but not modern. There is a large fenced area for dogs.
- smoking outside
- OK for kids, but must watch in pond
