房客使用權限

其他注意事項
Nightly rate is for guests 1-4. $5/day will be added for guests 5 & 6. Airbnb will collect the $95 cleaning fee, as well as State required Occupancy Tax (7%). The County required 5% tax is included in the nightly rate. Wood for fire pit is provided by Host.
CLEANING FEE does NOT include dish washing. Guests must wash dishes, pots and pans after use. On day of departure, guests should load and start the dishwasher. Anything that does not fit in dishwasher on check-out day should be hand-washed, dried and stored in original location. Do not leave dishes, pots and pans in sink or on counter top or stove. Kitchen notes are included in the Cabin Manual which should be reviewed soon after arrival.
WHAT TO BRING: Bring personal grooming items, grocery items, and other items vital to your stay. Guests may use modest amounts of basic kitchen condiments (seasonings and oil). Hosts have small lazy susan in frig which has items reserved for owner visits. Host will provide full list of kitchen amenities prior to your visit to assist in trip planning.
Neighbor’s dogs (small brown/white dog & two Great Pyrenees) may visit the cabin on occasion. Contact us if this is a problem. Do not interact with any local dogs if seen, and do not give out food or treats. We do not want to encourage them to visit the cabin. We are unaware of any aggressive dogs, but this is a rural area where some owners allow their non-aggressive dogs to run free at times.
NEIGHBORS: Cabin within sight of porch/deck areas is not occupied full time but has camera monitoring for unauthorized access. Gray house down the end of the driveway is family occupied - these neighbors own dogs which sometimes run free. If concerned, call hosts with any questions.
WILDLIFE - We are at the base of the Cohutta Wilderness. Bears may visit at night looking for food. We have strict rules regarding garbage handling. Unbagged trash outside can attract bears. We have a bear-resistant can, but everything still must be bagged and securely tied before going into the can. We also have stinging insects (primarily in warm months) that will attracted to food and drink left out. In summer, there are ticks residing on tall grasses and weeds. We provide some insect repellent, tick removal tools (and procedures). Our cabin manual covers all these things. One guest felt the cabin manual was intimidating, but it is designed to make your rustic cabin experience an enjoyable and safe one. We require all guests will take time to review the Cabin Manual upon arrival, and to review the Check-Out Procedures on evening before departure to make sure all things are covered.
Pets must be pre-approved.

Cabin is in sparsely populated mountain area near base of the Cohutta Wilderness, yet is an easy trip back into town. The cabin site is relatively private and is in a peaceful setting between two wooded hillsides. Hiking and mountain bike trails nearby.
Just hang out at the cabin for peaceful escape or drive to small town Ellijay to explore unique shops and restaurants. If you just want to walk and explore the natural areas, you can drive 1 mile to end of Whitecliff Dr for access to light hiking on old logging trail at the base of the Cohutta Wilderness OR go a little further for the following areas:
Drive 30 minutes (17 miles) to Fort Mountain State Park for day trip for fishing/hiking/views, small swimming beach. Can rent paddle boats for the lake.
Drive 50-60 minutes (17 miles) to remote Conasauga Lake Recreation area (open mid-April thru October 31) rich in plants, birds and wildlife with 19-acre spring-fed lake resting near Grassy Mountain -- highest lake in Georgia. Cool summertime temperatures for hiking to the Songbird Management area or to Grassy Mountain tower, fishing, or swimming. Nice day trip from the cabin - pack a lunch.
Have a rainy day? No problem. Sit on the covered porch, sip a glass of wine and watch the rain. Or, watch the 40" TV (Dish, local channels, WIFI with Netflix, etc). Cabin also has books, puzzles, and a few games.
Have fun, but please observe quiet time to respect our mountain neighbors. Read House Rules section.

My husband David and I are both retired. I worked for the Federal government (VA), and David was in the tool and die trade. We both like the outdoors--used to do lots camping and canoeing, but now more hiking and relaxing at home or at our cabin outside of Ellijay. We love the North Georgia mountain area, its scenery, shops and its people.
