The area is one of the oldest residential/tourist areas in hurghada, very quiet but always active and central to hurghada. I live in one of the prime locations in hurghada 5 minutes by car from the Airport or downtown hurghada, 5 minutes walking from the mamsha or the corniche (sea promenade) and a generally quiet well serviced area.
There is a restaurant Bulls right across the road that serves decent breakfast and dinner food, also has wifi if you want to use your laptop in a Cafe setting.
The mamsha which is a mainly pedestrian promenade is about 5 minutes walking to the start if you turn left outside my gate and walk on the sidewalk, keeping the fence on your left shoulder. It is an area with shops restaurants. And a medium sized supermarket.
