My place is close to art and culture, free buses, dining, trails. You’ll love my Carriage House because of the neighborhood, the ambiance, and the close-to-downtown convenience. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
This is a small space, built in 1996 under Historic Preservation rules by a National Geographic photographer, who used it as an office. It's somewhat bigger than a "tiny house," such as is in vogue these days. The oak floors and in-floor radiant heat make it very cozy and memorable.
There are three floors, accessed indoors by spiral stairs. Two twin beds are upstairs, and the master bedroom/bath is garden level, accessible by both an outdoor stairway, and the spiral stairs.
You have use of the entire house, the small fenced yard, the deck, and the (very tight) parking space in front of the gate.
My phone number on the keys I left for you, should you need assistance or recommendations.

My wife and I are nice people. I never heard of anybody as nice. We could be nicer I guess, but I'm not sure how—suggestions? I like Bluegrass, swing, jazz, any music that originates in New Orleans, and of course, America's musical comfort food, the funky, funky blues. Thank you for considering our little house. We live there 6 months a year—we like it fine.
