Glengarriff is situated on the Wild Atlantic Way with many things to see:
Bantry House, Sheep's Head Peninsula, Beara Peninsula and Dursey Island with Ireland's only cable car, etc.
A short drive via the Caha Mountain Pass brings you to Kenmare. Killarney with its famous lakes and the National Park is only one hour away.
Enjoy the many sandy beaches like Barley Cove, Allihies, etc.
There are many golf courses nearby. 5 km to the seashore and the picturesque village of Glengarriff with its quality shops, lively pubs and excellent restaurants.

At the main house is an eight tatami teahouse.
The demonstration, which includes a bowl matcha (Japanese green tea) can be booked in advance with the host for a fee of €15.00 for one or €25.00 for two.

The neighbourhood consists of a few small farms and holiday homes. The area is called the "Glen" with the Glengarriff river running next to the property. The valley is enclosed by hills and mountains on 3 sides with Barley Lake on top.
