Guests have access to the shared deck space, the bedroom suite and bathroom, the outdoor shower and yard, and the parking space in the driveway. If you need anything stored outside (like water-sports equipment), I'm happy to accommodate that in the garage or outdoor covered space.

I have a cat, Nola, who is very social and likes to make friends and get belly rubs. She is not allowed in the guest suite, but she likes to hang out on the shared deck space.

The house is located at the end of a private drive. You can usually hear the waves crashing from the house.
For those who have never been to this area, this is a very small town and does not have a big night life scene. This area is most enjoyed by those who like to play on the beach, explore the island, surf, kiteboard, paddleboard, kayak, sail, or otherwise enjoy nature, meet neat people, enjoy live music while watching the sunset, or having a bonfire under the stars. There are plenty of restaurants and stores in the village to enjoy.
We are located within a very short walking distance to Hatteras Island Surf Shop for your watersports rental needs. We are about a 5 minute walk to Watermen's Bar and Grill, and 10-15 minute walk to Boardwalk South Restaurant, Waves Market and Deli, Atlantic Coast Cafe, Dairy Queen, and Sheila's Country Kitchen.

I'm originally from Maine, and I now live in the Outer Banks of NC on the stunningly beautiful Hatteras Island. I am a certified yoga teacher, holistic health coach, private plant-based cook, and also work at a local restaurant.
