Welcome to the Kruger Suite at The Wolf & Horseshoe. Nestled in the sun-drenched idyllic countryside of Sonoma Wine Country (a short 50 miles to San Francisco), The Wolf & Horseshoe is an eclectic, luxury estate, farm and boutique retreat space boasting elegant guest accommodations. Sitting on 5.5 acres, just a short 3 miles from the Historic Sonoma Plaza, The Wolf & Horseshoe is the perfect vacation retreat and ideal escape to get you away from it all in style.

The Kruger Suite will undoubtedly elevate your weekend or vacation experience in eclectic comfort and rustic beauty. The Wolf & Horseshoe is perfectly located down a private, quiet country lane with views of Sonoma’s rolling hills, yet close to restaurants (3 miles from Sonoma Square), wineries, hiking and more. Lots of olive and fruit trees along with 15 sheep on the property complete the amazing rustic and modern Sonoma wine country feel. Recently remodeled (and soon to be featured in Sunset Magazine), the stunning home and property was thoughtfully curated by the owners Rusti & Martin, their friend and contractor, Coleman, alongside 9 of Sonoma’s most talented and inspirational Interior Designers. The Custom Estate offers 4 bedroom suites each with their own private bath (a 5th private owners suite) and over 4500 sq. ft of wine country luxury with a new solar heated pool, and huge bocce ball court.
Each bedroom is very large and each has its own full bathroom. (Let us know if you are looking for more than one room- we may be able to accomodate). While staying in The Kruger, you will have full access to the Estate and Farm (kitchen, pool, property, Internet, flat screen/ cable tv, and washer/dryer). Pick peaches, apples and grapes from the property when in season.

While staying at The Wolf & Horseshoe, you will have full access to the Estate and Farm (kitchen, pool, property, Internet, flat screen/ cable tv, and washer/dryer, outdoor bar, firepit, gas grill, bocce court). The home is very private and the beautiful outdoor 14 person dining table and firepit make for fabulous wine country nights.

Just fyi, we do have 2 sweet, LARGE dogs on the property- Brutus, a husky/malamute mix and Sally, a pyrenees/ akbash, who will be sure to greet you as you come and go. We also have 15 sheep on the back side of the property that are very friendly, and will be sure to baaaa at you when you are out in the yard! If you are here in Jan- March, chances are you will be able to see the baby lambs-- as they come in like hotcakes at this time of year...and are absolutely adorable. Please note that we are under strict Restrictions under the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinances. Our Sonoma County TOTC Certificate Number is 1310N Therefore all outdoor noise must be stopped at 10pm.

Located conveniently close to the Sonoma Square-- about a 5 minute drive west, you will be perfectly situated for strolling the local boutique shops and exploring Sonoma's first class restaurants. We are also approx 7 minutes from the world-renowned Sonoma Mission Inn -- which has an amazing day spa if you feel like being pampered after a few days visiting the wineries. We are happy to recommend our favorite wineries -- there are some of the best in CA right in the area. Bring your bike as you can ride to restaurants and wineries-- and it's quiet and peaceful with views of the vineyards, olive trees, hills and animals. Also great for walks/ runs. Say hi to the neighboring horses, llamas, and alpacas while out on your morning stroll!

We are a fun, friendly couple that have settled in the perfect town of Sonoma. We are looking for guests that want to see all that Sonoma has to offer, and we are happy to share with you our recommendations and favorite restaurants, wineries and places to go. There is a good chance that if we are around the house, we will be tending to the sheep, dogs and farm... or enjoying a bottle of wine and cooking out. However, we both work and are often not around. The Guest suites are on the opposite side of the home, so do allow for quite a bit of privacy for our guests.
