In the heart of the lively Navigli area, in a pedestrian zone, close to the center, a newly renovated apartment in a typical building of the old Milan, living room with queen size sofà bed, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.
5 min walk to Underground stop Porta Genova. 3 sta to Cadorna station for the Malpensa Express, 20 min underground trip do Central Station. Second floor with elevator.

The three-room apartment (bedroom, living room and spacious kitchen) with balcony and double exposure, is located in one of the most lively, vibrant and fashionable areas of Milan, full of bars and restaurants. It is very close to the center, as well as to the much reknown area of Via Tortona, very popular during the "Salone del Mobile" in Spring.
Well furnished, the apartment is on the second floor (third floor, considering USA measure) of a typical old milanese building and can comfortably accommodate a family of four, thanks to the double bedroom (single beds are possible when requested) and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room.
The building has an elevator. The street is closed to cars. Parking is not included.

Guests have use of linens and towels, a washing machine, dishwasher, wi-fi, air conditioning, TV.
Basics for cooking in the kitchen such as coffee, tea, salt, sugar, oil and everything you need in the bathroom.
Francesca is also fond of dining out and has prepared a guide to her favorites that she will be happy to share with her guests.
Guests can also have use of a map of the city and a little guide which contains suggestions for walking around.
No free parking available. A couple of closed parkings in the surroundings at convenient daily prices.

Francesca's apartment in Via Corsico is the ideal place to come to know the Navigli area, and comfortably visit Milan, living the neighborhood not as tourists, but as residents.
In particular, Via Corsico is in the middle of the Navigli night life and it may become very crowded, especially during the warm summer weekends.

E' importante per me sapere che gli amici siano soddisfatti quando organizzo qualcosa per loro, che sia ospitalità ma anche il consiglio per un cinema o un posto da vedere. Quando ospito con Airbnb questa mia caratteristica si riflette anche sul rapporto con i miei nuovi ospiti. Mi piace trovarmi bene nei posti in cui scelgo di stare ed essere ben accolta e' per me fondamentale per la buona riuscita di un viaggio, o anche solo di una cena. Per questo penso di poter dire di dare il meglio nell'accoglienza degli altri. Con mio marito, che mi aiuta nell'accoglienza, abbiamo due figli (anche loro hanno iniziato a dare una mano), un cagnone simpatico e peloso e una gattina. Ho vissuto all'estero da bambina e ragazza, un pò anche in Umbria, e vivo a Milano dal 1988. Amo la natura e soprattutto il mare che starei delle ore a guardare. Amo leggere e andare al cinema, amo la musica, gli animali, il buon vino e il buon cibo. Mi piace molto cucinare. Da qualche tempo ho ripreso ad esercitare una vecchia passione: il canto, a cui mi ero dedicata molto attivamente da ragazza. Sono ora cantante in un coro femminile, con repertorio preso da la tradizione degli Spiritual e dei Musical americani. It's important for me to know that friends are happy when they are my guests or even when I suggest them something for an outing or a dinner out. When hosting with airbnb I know that I'll be the same with my new guests. When I travel, a pleasant welcome in the places I choose to stay is for me a fundamental part of a pleasant trip. For this reason I can say that I give my best as a good host. With my husband, who helps in hosting, we have two boys, a hairy and friendly big dog and a little cat. As a girl, I have lived out of Italy for some time, then in Umbria and finally in Milano from 1988. I love nature, especially the sea, which I could spend hours watching. I love to read and to go to the movies. I love music and animals, good wine and good food and I love cooking. When I was younger I studied singing, and I sang in choirs, as a leading singer in groups, and in duets (with my husband, that plays the guitar). I have now come back to this old passion and am part of a female choir.

Francesca and her husband Paolo, with their family of two children, a cat and a dog, live a short walk from the apartment and will be glad to welcome guests upon their arrival, as well as being easily accessible for any need.
