Set in a picturesque Catskills hamlet between Ashland and Windham on NY-23 sits The Old Lawrence Farmhouse. Built in 1792, this was the birthplace of New York Governor Washington Hunt (b.1811) and later a long standing dairy farm that had business through the 1960’s.
The Old Lawrence Farmhouse is minutes away by car from the town of Windham with its Restaurants, Shops, Galleries and Windham Movie Theatre, and a five minute drive from Windham Ski Slopes.
Across the street is Italian restaurant "Brandywine"
You'll require a car to get around this area, however, there are things to do locally in the town of Windham (Restaurants, Bars, Cinema) a mile away. Parking is available to the rear of the house.
