Travel restrictions
Due to COVID-19 there are lockdowns in place across the UK and travel is not permitted other than in limited circumstances until at least April. Failure to follow the law is a criminal offence.
A modern studio located on the ground floor of our townhouse in East Oxford. Ideal for couples, or single travelers alike. It has great access to the Hospitals, Brookes University, City centre by bus, and the Oxford tube from London. The studio has a double bed, kitchenette, and en-suite bathroom. There are a number of amenities that make the studio great for both short, or longer trips such as, tea/coffee (with fresh milk), free Wi-Fi, large rain shower, full cooker, TV/DVD, and washer/dryer.

We have tried to include everything you would need to make your stay as comfortable as possible, and have included a few items that make the room flexible for both work and holiday travel. The kitchenette includes much of the amenities of a full kitchen, so that an extended trip is pleasant, even in a studio format. There are a few items that make a difference when traveling with work such as, a heated bathroom mirror, hair dryer, breakfast bar/work-space, fridge, clothes hanger, iron and ironing board. The space is designed for two people sleeping in a double bed, however there is a Futon that can be used if two guests would like two beds for short trips. Please feel free to get in contact if you have any special requests that you think might make your stay more enjoyable.

Access to the studio is via the main door to our house. Once you are in the entrance hall you will find two doors, one to the studio, and one to the rest of the house. This is the only part of the house that is shared with the studio.

The house is a mid terrace townhouse situated off a quiet side road, with trees on the opposite side of the road, so is not overlooked by other houses. The area is very quiet, but is within a 20 minute walk (2 minute bus ride) of the main area of Headington, which has many restaurants and shops should you need them. We also have a couple of corner shops for essential that you can reach within a ten minute walk. If you like a long walk there is a bridal path at the end of the road that leads to a nice trek though the surrounding fields and villages (with a couple of nice pubs).

As the studio is located on the ground floor of our home, we will either be available in person, or contactable at any time should you need us. Although the studio is part of the main house and has shared access, it is self contained and can be access from the main entrance without going through the rest of the house. Check-in is via a keysafe from 5pm for added flexibility. If special check-in arrangements are needed please get in contact. We are very happy to help, so if you do need anything during your stay, please feel free to ask :)
