I easily accept reviews when they are constructive with a goal of improvement but can’t bear a bunch of lies and untrue report of events. I want to offer the best journey to the guests and welcome them in person to show around. Those guests were unreachable and when I got the chance we agreed to meet a 5.00pm and was on time. I quote : ´I apologize for such a late response ........We should arrive around 17:00 at the latest. I hope that is okay. We look forward to our stay and I will let you know if we run into any delays’ . SO DON'T TELL THAT YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG AS WE AGREED ON A CHECK IN TIME !
Checkout is noon so I didn’t insist for an early departure as It would has been a violation of the community rules . Due to a metro problem I have arrIved 7 minutes late and couldn’t find the keys.
They didn’t leave a note, text me or call even they had WiFi and could use (Hidden by Airbnb) or whatever. But once I’ve asked where they were it was a nightmare . Indeed they dropped the keys in the courtyard and didn't tell me until I was looking for and asked . Who would do that ??? The concierge finally found them in a hole !!!
Those guests are disrespectful, don’t communicate prior to arrival or departure and don't expect a phone call even if they have unlimited wifi.
Thanks God I' m not perfect but I certainly know more about respect, hospitality and service than them. For anyone wondering, if you decide to host those guests , secure everything to avoid stress and time.
I love hosting guests and I will continue as long as I can provide the best Parisian tips
