When you stay at Crescent Beach House Unit C, the only things between you and the Atlantic Ocean are the dunes and the beach. In fact, the property has its own private walkway to the sparkling white sands.
Located on the top floor of a 3-story house, unit C sleeps 8 people—and a pet or 2 as well. The bright and spacious master suite has its own balcony, so you and your special someone can savor a moonlit nightcap out among the salt-tinged breeze before curling up on your queen-size bed. The master bedroom has its own bathroom too.
The 2nd bedroom can sleep up to 4 people, in a pair of twin bunk beds. The kids will feel as if they’re at summer camp! There is also a 2nd full bathroom. Should you have additional guests, they can sleep in the living area: The sofa opens into a queen-size bed.
Speaking of the living area, it’s furnished in true beach-house fashion, with plenty of wicker-frame seating, sky-blue cushions, and whitewashed floors that will feel refreshingly cool underfoot when you return from walking on the sand. When you’re not watching a movie on the large flat-screen TV with cable, you can listen to tunes on the CD player, surf the web via the free WiFi, or build Lego forts on the floor with the kids.
Sliding glass doors connect Crescent Beach House Unit C’s living area to a 2nd, screened-in balcony. Looking out onto the ocean, this large space is furnished with tables and chairs so that you can dine alfresco (and without uninvited flying guests). At least once during your stay you should time breakfast to coincide with the sunrise over the Atlantic, a truly beautiful sight. And the sound of the waves rolling onto the beach is the perfect background music any time of day or night.
Of course, there’s an indoor dining area too. The dining table seats 6, and 3 more can belly up to the adjacent breakfast bar. The breakfast bar doubles as additional counter space for Crescent Beach House Unit C’s kitchen. Fully equipped with appliances, cookware, and tableware, the kitchen can handle anything from your morning cup of coffee to a Thanksgiving feast for the whole family. There’s even a dishwasher; after all, when the beach is your backyard, the last thing you want to do is scrub dishes.
Other conveniences include a half-bath, a washer, and a dryer. The best convenience of all, however, is the location, just steps from the beach. Rather than have to load up your car with a day’s worth of gear, battle traffic, and hunt for a parking spot before you can enjoy fun in the sun, you can stroll back and forth to the beach whenever you like. Surf-fish and watch dolphins frolic in the waves in the morning; head back to the beach after lunch to swim, paddle board, canoe, or parasail; return again in the evening to search for seashells as seabirds swoop and soar across the star-studded sky.
Should you tire of the beach (difficult to imagine, we know!), Crescent Beach House Unit C is close to numerous other attractions. Fort Matanzas National Monument, with its centuries-old fort, is less than 10 minutes away; Marineland and the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park are less than 15 minutes away. Also close by are Matanzas State Forest, for hiking and biking, and the historical district of St. Augustine, the country’s oldest city.
One thing’s for certain: When you stay at Crescent Beach House Unit C, you’ll never run out of things to see or do. So what are you waiting for? Book your stay today—before someone else beats you to it!
