Pineapple Apartment is on the first and second floors of a unique 16th century terraced house in the centre of Watlington. There is even a view of Watlington Hill from the top.
We are 10 minutes walk from the Icknield Way and the National Trust's Watlington Hill.
Henley on Thames, Oxford, Thame and Wallingford are all about 20 minutes drive away.
The property is cosy, (Bijou to our French friends, Gemütlich to our German cousins), and suitable for everyone fit enough to manage a few stairs.

The apartment in accessed from Couching Street (B4009) and is clearly marked. Follow the 'Pineapples'. It consists of ground floor entrance plus 1st and 2nd floors.
Please respect our neighbours, as the joint access passage has private doors to their house and their courtyard garden.

Pineapple apartment is in a cosy 16th building. This means low door openings and many exposed beams. My feeling is that the apartment is not ideal for children under the age of four years old.
I love this house and expect guests will understand why, once they have experienced a stay here.

The picturesque area will be familiar to fans of 'Midsomer Murders' and 'Morse'. In spite of our proximity to London and Oxford we are surrounded by wonderful walking and cycling countryside.
Henley on Thames, 20 minutes drive away, is not only a beautiful River Thames town, but is famous for the Henley Royal Regatta, Ladies Regatta and the Henley Festival.

We would love to welcome you to our unique, quirky period apartment. Karla and I have lived in the centre of Watlington for 36 years. We love it here and we are sure you will as too!
