thanks for your commentary,
The yurts are genuine mongolian yurts with a basic/rough craftmanship. painting/decoration is original, I am no artist and well aware of it ...). Obviously the furnishing is not mongolian (check the pictures) and not pretending to be.
Keeping livestock in catalunia differs from north europe, culturaly people didn't live on the land due to the lack of water, so plots are usually small and spread. Livestock were kept enclosed and brought to pasture during the day.
In LLAMAS & YURTAS we chose to have the animals free to roam on the 3 hectares, semi large plots close by the Town versus Village are impossible to come by due to town planing.
Also to enjoy the stars you need to be at a minimum distance from any lighy polution... therefor yes being located in a slightly remote place is a choice.
Out of the beaten track smashing spot have to be earned, no pleasure otherwise!!
For those relying on public transports, the closest train station is as a matter of fact and lost in the middle of nowhere, in the village of ELS GUIAMETS. Only for very well seasoned travellers as only one train per day stops there.
The best id MORA LA NOVA (12 km away) with trains from Barcelona.
There is twice a day bus service from MORA LA NOVA train station to the village of LA SERRA D'ALMOS, You can book a taxi (yellow pages or ask me) or I can organise your transfer.
I shall copy and paste this information on the ads, something i have had in my mind to do but postponed to another day.
Thank you Alexendr for raising the issue and safe trip
