Cascade Retreat is a mountain property located in Cascade-Chipita Park, CO 10 mi to Colorado Springs, 8 mi to historic Manitou Springs and 5 mi to Woodland Park. Walk to historic part of Green Mountain Falls along Fountain Creek trail, enjoy the lake and the park, restaurants, bars, cafes. The property is good for 6 adult guests and 3 children: 9 guests total (adults and children). The house is close to Pikes Peak Highway, Santa's Workshop Amusement Park, Pikes Peak Cog Rail, Dinosaur Museum.

Rocky Mountain Retreat is a mountain property in a great location: just 10 miles to Colorado Springs, 8 miles to historic Manitou Springs, 5 miles to Woodland Park. Great little mountain community offers variety of local restaurants just 1 mile away (take a beautiful trail along Fountain Creek and stay for a lunch on the lake!), a community pool (heated pool!), a park with a lake and a fountain in the middle of it. It is a fishing lake and people catch rainbow trout there. Some summer festivals and events take place in the park and Green Mountain Falls community every summer.
You can walk to historic center of Green Mountain Fall community along Fountain Creek to enjoy a beautiful lake and park with a playground and picnic tables there, as well as a community swimming pool (open during summer months) and some wonderful local restaurants (Mucky Duck, Pantry, etc). A lot of sightseeing, lakes, trails, historic towns in surrounding area such as Manitou Springs, Cripple Creek
The house offers a wonderful mountain view and a great location. Santa's Workshop is just a few minutes away. Pikes Peak Highway can take you to the summit of Pikes Peak starts right here too... We are a few miles to Dinosaur Museum in Woodland Park, an actual working laboratory kids and adults will enjoy..
We have 2 sets of leather furniture with a sitting places for 8-9 guests and a big screen TV in the living room. All bedrooms are furnished with custom made aspen log furniture, brand new pillow top mattresses. We have partially remodeled two bathroom with contemporary vanities.
There is a wide clearing in front of the house. You could see wildlife there almost every morning and at sunset. We saw deer, foxes, squirrels, beautiful birds, elks, etc. Relax with a glass of wine on the patio or a cup of coffee in the morning and let natural scenery unfold its beauty...

We have 2 big decks with 3 sets of patio furniture in total. BBQ grill and a small gas fire pit are on the deck on the side of the house. Please clean and cover gas BBQ grill after each use. Please refill propane gas tank as a courtesy to the next guests.
