I'm local Langkawi and a frequent traveller. I currently on my road trip around USA until July 2022. Can't wait to head back to the paradise of Langkawi after July.
I was a Real Estate Negotiator in Kuala Lumpur and have travelled to 30 over countries. I love explore new places, experience new activity and enjoyed staying in Airbnbs. After several trips, I discovered that travel is my passion and recognized Tanjung Rhu, Langkawi's magnificience and therefore would love to share through my lens, the beauty of my hometown to the world. Due to that, I have decided to venture into developing a vacation home and tourism business.
Towards the end of 2016, I joined my family to develop a few location on our heritage parcel of land to share to our potential guests the beauty of our hometown. Out of our tiny savings, we built seven more unit serving visitors traveling in 2-8 pax that. That add up to nine units in total, one unit at a time reinvesting back into the business along the way. We continue to grow.
2 years later in 2018, I added value to the accommodation by providing a stand up paddle tour "@H2OCEAN_TRV" in Tanjung Rhu Beach not far from the compound. My brothers added food and beverage business that serve complimentary breakfast to our in-house guest only "@TheKelapaCafe_TRV". Since the cafe received great reviews, we pivoted to open it to the public. During the pandemic, our sister came home to leverage her degree in fashion design and is now operating her humble boutique in TRV compound @LIMAR_MY. Our parents are the backbone of this business. We're a family run business with 100% equity in the company. Our dream to build a little village has now become reality :)
