Hello I am Berleen Akal I always find it a little difficult to describe myself but here goes; I am an easy going person that is learning to enjoy the simple things in life. I have grown up in the hospitality industry and now I proudly own and run a B&B myself. I just love meeting new people and hearing their stories. 5 things I cant live without is an easy one; My special family, friends, SUN, tea (to make those sunless days a little better) and making new memories. I love to travel locally or internationally it doesn't matter - as long as it is with my family or friends. My FAV holiday destination is right here in SA - the good old Drakensberg. Hiking, golfing, relaxing and midday hail storms, it just has something amazing about it. Europe has always impressed me - waking up everyday in a different country with a menu of new food - YUM! As a guest I would probably be out all day enjoying the sites, views and food. I know what it is like to host a B&B and therefore treat the accommodation and host exactly how I would like to be treated. As a host I am very welcoming and really like my guests to feel at home. I make sure they have all the information and amenities that they need to enjoy their stay with us. A motto I live by is "live and let live". We live in such a beautiful diverse world and I have been exposed to such amazing people that I would never have had the chance to meet if it wasn't for my B&B.
