Early in the listing process AirBNB placed the map marker on some random locatio (Website hidden by Airbnb) luckily we picked up on that right away and explained to guests to ignore the map marker and that we are very close to the airport and the south side of the Strip. Unfortunately, Luis seemed to miss that when he read over our Detailed Description.
Just so future guests have accurate information: I drive to the Strip on a daily basis, and it takes me under 7 minutes to arrive at the door of Mandalay Bay. It's a quick block and a half to the freeway and three exits from there. Easy peasy.
Even with traffic, I can't imagine it taking longer than 10 minutes to arrive at the Strip. For me, that's close. If a ten minute drive seems inconvenient to you--you probably won't like staying at the TIKI HOUSE. For the rest of us--a short 10 minute drive is extremely hassle free when it comes to enjoying accessible to world class entertainment.
Please understand that the Strip is the Las Vegas Boulevard: It's a thoroughfare full of lights and traffic and all sorts of exciting sights and sounds. What it is NOT is a single destination. If you're looking to go to the north side of the Strip, that's further from us than the south side. The good news is that all of the newer, livelier casinos including T-Mobile Arena (and the upcoming stadium!) are south near us.
I'm glad I got a chance to clarify so there's no confusion for future 5-star guests of the TIKI HOUSE who appreciate all we have to offer.
