Hello Lisa, are you sure you had a look of the announce before booking? We have more that 40 pictures to describe and show everything of outside and inside our appartment.
I suggest you to watch again. Of course, if the appartment is situated in the OLD CITY, it means that you won,t have your feet in the water. In the description, it is even written that you have a sea view, and a view of the roofs.
About the bedroom, yes it is separated. You have a kitchen (with a wonderful view, I have to precise...) And yes, it is a sofa bed as mentionned in the announce, and shown in the pictures. The sofa is brand new, as all the furnitures in the appartment nearly refurbished, and standard size for two persons. We never specified that we have a king size bed.
About the bathroom, once again, please... watch the pictures... It illustrates exactly how the appartment is composed. Yes, there is a shower stall with a sink ! THERE IS A PICTURE SHOWING IT.
About the toilets, there are private, four steps from the appartment. You have all the 4th floor as a private concession area.
The best of your critic is about the stairs... Please note that a 90 years old woman lived there for 60 years, before us. Hundreds of years, people used this stairs up and down for their normal use. All the buildings in the old city are from the late 17th century, atypically built with the charm of that era. I proposed twice, as my husband was here, to help your "poor husband" with the luggages. But he refused... As he is native of Villefranche, he should have explained you how beautiful and atypical are the old buildings and old city. You should have appreciated more the charm of this historical site.
There is an automatic light , with a movement sensor, which is working very well, when you go out of the appartment in the night.
There is a smoke detector in the appartment, not only for your safety, but also according to the policy in France. What you say is very untruthful as the safety of our guests is paramount for us !
The TV is small... usually people don't come in Villefranche to watch TV but to enjoy one of the most beautiful site in France. Until now, the size was convenient to our guests.
We never specified that acces to the appartment was accessible to people with reduced mobility.
The cleaning fee is proportionnal to the quality of the service. At least you didn't complained about the cleanliness of the appartment.
It can be seen , very easily , that your critical comment was just made to hurt us. But you didn't managed that, as all the others guests we meet and welcomed appreciated the true value of our place.
In our opinion, a villa in Monaco would be more appropriated for your requirement, but of course it wouldn,t cost only 45€/night.
