Kathleen, it is imposible to make every guest happy. We have 3 different kinds of mattresses in the house, soft, medium and hard, people complain because its to soft or because its to hard. If you research hot tub can take 4 hrs to heat. We have it at 95 degrees becase when its more peoole complain that was to hot and even having the instructions saying no more than 10 min inside when the temperature is above 100 degrees they stay more and complain. Is not hot enough and complain like you. Again average time to heat 4 hrs, dont put that in the reciew like the hot tub is not working.

Sorry for your bad experience but I will clarify some of your negative comments. 1. You did not mention that I was very flexible to reschedule your trip just days before your original check in time. Per the rental policy that was not possible and you would lose your booking. 2. We have updated the instructions and a typo mistake was found in my phone number but my correct number is showed in Airbnb site, beside that my wife number is also showed in the instructions and you could contact her or send me a message like you did thru Airbnb. 3. Gas and power was cut for the hurricane so water heater was off and since nobody lives there we did not realize it was off. I have never got a notification about this until later Saturday when I told you I was going there to turn it on you ask me for instructions to do it yourself and it worked very fast. 4.AC was not cooling and again since we don't live there we could not know and I did not know the problem until I found a technician on Saturday. I got notified about the issue until Saturday afternoon and I did my best to send a technician. Again it was Saturday and its really hard to find someone to work. Rules states very clear "In the Unlikely Event of Equipment Malfunction, owners will strive to reduce the Guest`s inconvenience by expediting any necessary repairs to the home`s appliances and fixtures" AC problem can happen anywhere and we did the best to solve it and we fix it the same day, but of course you don't even consider how much can it cost to have an AC emergency call. 5. When you contact me I did not said you must frozen the unit, I asked you if you left the patio door open and AC under 72 which could frost the unit. That happened before with other guests so I was just asking so I could know how to fix it. 6. Blinds were damaged by previous guests and we could not fix that one. 7. How can you complain about what uber cost when the summary of the house states that the distance from the house to downtown is 9 miles? You should have research with uber the cost in charlotte for 9 miles and if it was too much for you just book something closer. 8. We have very clear in instructions "We want to provide the best quality of rental and get the best reviews from our guests so in order to achieve this please contact us if something seems bad during your stay so we can have fixed immediately. Human error is very common but we are here to solve the problem. For example if you think the bathroom is not cleaned adequately lets us know so we have it clean properly as soon as possible." If you would mention anything was not cleaned properly we would have fixed right away. Again sorry for the inconveniences but we fixed the ones we were notified in a timely manner.

Stylish home that can accommodate many. Due to weather, I was not able to hang out in the hot tub, but Jorge was kind enough to accommodate dogs during an emergency hurricane evacuation. Thanks Jorge
