To be honest, Jasmine is the worst guest any Airbnb host can have. If I have one more guest like Jasmine, I will quit Airbnb. At first, She booked our cottage for 3 nights starting on Thursday on Jun. 07. One day before the checking in, She asked to change the reservation to 2 nights and starting from Saturday on Jun. 09. To show our kindness, we approved her requirement. It was true, she and her friends had to wait for about half an hour because we found out there was not enough propane in the BBQ tank in the last minute. During the waiting, her friend told us they would check out in Sunday night. In Sunday evening about 7:00 PM, Jasmine left me a message and reported Airbnb that they left early because her boyfriend cut his toe by stepping on the metal cover of the septic tank. Even we know the metal cover is very safe. But we did feel sorry for the accident, and immediately tell Airbnb to give Jasmine a full refund. Four days later on Jun. 14, when the cleaner went to clean the cottage for the next guests. She found that the cottage looked like it has been robbed, garbage (wastes, dog shit/food, empty wine/beer bottles, etc) was everywhere, one broken Muskoka chair, one broken red wine glass, one broken dinner plate, one broken slipper. The curtain was dropped. The kitchen sinks were full of dirty plates. The cleaner had collected more than 30 empty wine/beer bottles. In addition, there was no blood trails on the metal cover of the septic tank, but a lot of blood around broken wine glasses in the backyard patio, far away from the septic tanks. The cleaner was very unhappy about the extra cleaning work and charged me extra one hundred dollars. Fortunately, the cleaner had taken some pictures on what she found. We gave all the pictures to Airbnb. If we have one more guest like this, we will quit Airbnb.
