The kitchen has a standard electric 4-ring cooker with oven, a fridge-freezer and various cooking utensils.
The sitting room has a pull-out sofa bed, a flat screen T.V. with Irish, U.K. and some international T.V. channels.

The apartment is self-contained. Guests do not have access to the main house.
The house & apartment have electric gates and a large garden which guests have access to.
There are dogs on site but they are kept in their own secure compound.

Our home is located on the eastern side of the historic Cratloe Woods, just a couple of minutes walk from the Meelick entrance. It is said that oak wood from here was used to roof the Houses of Parliament in Westminster, London! There are extensive walks within the woods. In particular, it is worth walking from the Meelick entrance over to the older western side (the Cratloe entrance) where there is a fantastic children’s playground with a wide variety of eco-friendly equipment including a small zip line and a lake.
Limerick city is 10 minutes from us by car where you can visit the notable Hunt Museum, St John's castle and the Concert Hall at the University of Limerick. The historic village of Adare is only 10 minutes drive from Limerick and is home to the luxurious Adare Manor & Golf Course. It you feel like really indulging, why not enjoy their famous Afternoon tea but be warned - you need to reserve in advance.
We are also located just 10 minutes from Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Enjoy a medieval night's entertainment in the castle or a traditional Irish evening of music, dance and home cooked food at the Corn Bar also located in the Park. When finished there why not finish off with a pint of Guinness in Durty Nelly's pub.
The breath-taking Cliffs of Moher are about 1hr and 15 mins drive. If you want to visit the sea, Lahinch is a lovely seaside town close to the Cliffs. It is a well-known surfing site and is only 1 hour from our home. Alternatively, head for Ballybunion in North Kerry which is about 1.5 hours.
The Radisson Blu Hotel is a 5 minute drive away. There you can enjoy award winning cuisine at Porter's restaurant. It's Rain Spa & Leisure Club offers fitness and relaxation facilities including massage and beauty treatments is also at your disposal but pre-booking is essential.
