Cozy Cabin located within 1 mile of Poe Valley State Park. Located on 5 acres of wooded property, guests can enjoy a camp fire with firewood provided, a small stream, and a large front and rear deck for relaxing. Property is in close proximity to the Bald Eagle State Forest providing walking, hiking, and biking opportunities galore in the beautiful 7 Mountains Region of Pennsylvania. State College is a lovely 40 minutes away. Enjoy all that Penn State and the surrounding towns have to offer.

The cabin is made up of three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Guests can enjoy an open floorplan in the living and dining and kitchen areas. A front and rear deck allow for plenty of space to enjoy the natural surroundings.

The cabin can be entered from the rear deck but will require guests to climb five stairs. The front of the cabin can be accessed by crossing the front yard and stepping onto the front deck and entering by the front door.

The drive will require you to travel on a minimum of 6 miles of easily traveled dirt road, driving approx 35 miles per hour, before getting to the cabin. The cabin is provided with one window air conditioner in the dining area. The unit is capable of cooling the entire cabin to around 76F. Bedroom doors may need to be left open at night to realize comfort cooling. There is no telephone service provided at the cabin and the location of the cabin nestled in the valley precludes the use of cell phones. Cell phone reception is only available by driving one mile up to the top of the mountain.
