Cozy cabin at scenic location above the tree-line, right in the heart of the 350 km cross country ski track network surrounding Storåsen-Sjusjøen. Put your skies on at the door-step and just enjoy! The location is convenient for hiking and cycling, next to the ‘Birken’ cycling tracks.
The cabin combines modern kitchen and bathroom facilities with the charm of a traditional, rustic style. It is a good place to relax, and to enjoy your evenings in front of the open fire place.

Enjoy the new, modern kitchen and bathroom facilities while enjoying the atmosphere of a traditional cabin. You can also find various treasures from the past, as well as a selection of books and games. On the main floor, there is a roomy hall, separate kitchen and living room, both with wood burning stoves, bathroom, the master bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds. The living room has a nice, open fireplace. The bathroom has a comfortable shower, WC and a washing machine, and the kitchen is well equipped with dish washer, modern oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, waffle maker, pans, common spices etc. Both the kitchen and the bathroom have comfortable heated floors. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a lovely view towards the Snørvillen and Midfjellet mountains with 2 single beds (and a sofa-bed that is not counted but ok for a child) and a bedroom with a comfortable 120 cm bed, as well as a relaxing sitting/library area.

Access to whole cabin and outhouse with wood store, and stuff like a chair sledge (sparkstøtting), an old wooden sledge that is nice to use as a bench on sunny winter days, and an old pulk.
Summertime there are chairs, bench and table outside the cabin to enjoy nice summer days.

Wintertime the cabin location is perfect for cross country skiing. Usually the tracks next to the cabin are prepared every morning, and you are easily spoiled for choice in the middle of the beautiful 350 km trail network.
In summer, is is a pleasant location for hiking and biking.

# Sjusjøen skistadion and start of e.g Ultrabirken, Birken Fjellmaraton and Halvbirken (less than 2 km, and you can ski to the start).

# Hafjell ski centre and Hunderfossen amusement park (36 km).
