You'll enjoy a spacious and comfortable room on the second floor with a King size bed, with fresh cotton sheets, down comforter in winter, dressers, bedside table and private bath. Use our fully-equipped country kitchen, relax by the fireplace in the living room, enjoy books and games, internet, screened porch, large deck, wooded private back yard, hardwood floors, woodstove, and stone fireplaces. You can walk, run, bike, or cross-country ski out the front door. A continental breakfast is included. Free phone calls: no wifi onsite, but computer with internet for your use, and free wifi nearby.
We will share the house with you, but you will have your own private bathroom. We enjoy meeting people and guiding you to the absolute best that our beautiful Berkshire County has to offer. We're happy to recommend the best activities, sights and dining in our area. On the other hand, if you want privacy, that's fine.
We can provide a delicious hearty organic country breakfast with local free-range eggs and homemade baked goods.
Our road is well-plowed in winter.

We have no pets except tropical fish.
Extras: we can also pick you up at the bus stop, arrange for rental of a car, bike or skis, provide healthy snacks, laundry and/or lunch. We love to cook and can even make you dinner! Just let us know what you'd like. We look forward to sharing our house and woods with you!

We are a mature couple, a teacher and a nonprofit fundraiser, who enjoy meeting new people and all kinds of conversations. We are interested in music, theater, dance, food, films, wildlife, the outdoors, world events and all kinds of art. We also know this area well and enjoy guiding you to the places and experiences that best meet your interests. George is a Massachusetts native who has lived in Germany and Ireland, and we have both lived in England and recently traveled to Brazil and Peru.
