This beautiful self catering old farm house has its origins dating back to 1812. Set in a natural amphitheater on top of a "krans", it is very scenic and peaceful. The house has 5 en suite bedrooms. Large fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room and long veranda with built in braai. Walking, Cycling, Birding are just some of the many activities available on this 700 hectare farm. All within 28km of Grahamstown, Bathurst, Port Alfred and Kenton on Sea.

For the cyclists you will find single track, jeep track and plenty of district roads to ride in the area and on the farm. There are plenty of marked walks with an abundance of bird life and the opportunity of spotting the Cape Clawless Otter and plenty of natural game. Beautiful deep pools along the river to take a dip in on a hot summers day. There is nothing better than breakfast on the veranda of the Pig and Whistle in Bathurst after a cycle through the scenic "Penny's Hoek" road. The beaches of Port Alfred and Kenton on Sea are just a short drive away.

We are able to charge a per person rate if there are less than 6 of you
We can organise to have the house serviced daily at extra cost to the guests.
