Two connected adorable cozy townhouses. Located in downtown - only 2 blocks from City Hall and a few more to UGA Arches, Classic Center. Across the street from Lay Park with playground, public pool, Lyndon House Arts Center & Museum and 1/2 a mile to Greenway! Enjoy shopping, dining, live music, festivals, art galleries. A few blocks from the GA Theatre, 40 Watt Club, Hotel Indigo & the The Foundry. No parties allowed.

Our townhouses are located downtown Athens for visitors wanting to enjoy Athens for what it is best known for.... Some would say Bulldawg Football and all sports. Some would say its the amazing local music scene (you can't stay closer unless you stay in a hotel), or any of the many cultural events Athens has to offer or just visiting students, professors or friends.
The townhouses are mirror images of each other and connected by a communicating door. The 2 kitchens have everything you need for meal preparation and an enjoyable dining experience including ovens with stove top, microwaves, toaster ovens, coffee makers, blender, refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, cutlery, plates, napkins, etc. We also provide fresh coffee grounds, an assortment of teas, plus basics for cooking and baking (oils, spices, sweeteners, condiments, etc.).
Both living rooms are adorned with our collection of folk art tapestries and wood pieces, and are the perfect lounge area for relaxing and socializing. We also have two 40-inch flat screen televisions with Roku and DVD players. Regular cable/TV service is NOT provided. An HDMI cable is provided if guests wish to connect their laptop/tablet/ mobile device to the TV in order to stream content through WIFI. There are 2 half baths downstairs and 2 full baths upstairs (1.5 in each townhouse).
We can definitely accommodate families with small children as amenities such as Pack N Play, high chair, books, toys, etc. are not kept in the house.
Enjoy the screened in back patios with ceiling fans, comfortable chairs, and view of backyards and the top of the Lyndon House (over our new wooden privacy fence). We also have outside tables and chairs, and charcoal grills for those wanting to dine outside, a chiminea, and a comfy stand alone 'porch swing' with cushions and canopy.

There are 4 guest parking spaces available (for regular sized vehicles) and more spaces may be made available upon special request. The townhouses and property is there for your private use. We, the owners, live about a mile away.
Accessibility note: The bedrooms and full bathrooms are located upstairs on the second floor. There are 2 half baths on the first floor.

No pets allowed! We are sensitive to guests that have pet allergies and so do not allow pets on the premises!

Downtown Athens GA hosts many fine restaurants, bars, shops and music as well as what you normally find in a cool downtown. These townhouses are at the North End and the University of Georgia is at the Southern End...about a 5-10 minute walk. There is the Convention Center bordering the East end and the 40 Watt Club (1/2 mile from townhouses) on the West End. We are very close to every end. Find the Hotel Indigo, walk past the Fire Station and take a right on Hoyt. We are 1.1 miles from Sanford Stadium.
