On Gasconade River bluffs,offers an unprecedented view of the Sunset over the River, & native Cedar decor from trees cleared on the property, an ideal setting for large family gatherings,(Such as Fort Leonard Wood graduations), parties,reunions,or fishing/hunting trips. Upstairs includes living room with wood-burning fireplace,expansive,fully stocked kitchen, sunroom-dining room,and deck overlooking River., Downstairs:large recreation area with pool table,game table wet bar,and expansive porch.

Sleeps 9+,with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 sitting room with a pullout couch (does have a door for privacy) and I pullout couch in the entrainment area downstairs.
Riverland Sanctuary is in a private natural setting with an elevation and beauty unique in Missouri. This graceful lodge is situated on an 80 foot bluff above the Gasconade River. The large entertainment deck and dining room/sunroom face Westward providing a superb sunset view above the River Valley. Deck railings and much indoor furniture were fashioned by a local Mennonite Artisan using cedar trees cut on the property. Decor is tasteful and functional, with an expansive kitchen leading into a sunroom- dining room, deck and beautiful new second sunroom with chairs to relax in. Riverside sunrooms allow protected exposure to nature in all seasonings and weather. Upstairs provides a divided living room with a large TV viewing area on one side and cozy wood-burning fireplace on the other, providing extensive space for family interaction or entertaining. The upstairs area also includes two of the bedrooms, one full bathroom, and a laundry area. The downstairs is now complete and is decorated with natural wood, the fireplace is not yet functional. It has a large recreation area (party room) with a pool table, wet bar, and hand-made game table. The couch in the recreation area also opens into a bed. The sitting room downstairs also has a couch that will pull out into a bed - does have it’s own door for privacy. In warm weather this area opens out onto a "party porch", with plentiful attractive seating, a propane grill, and a garden with seating and a fire ring.
This property allows an in depth view of nature year -round, without sacrificing comfort, and in warm weather months allows extensive outdoor entertainment, with full river view. The original residents traveled to the river by cablecar (still present to view, as an interesting relic of the past, but there is no direct river access on the property (situated on an 80 foot bluff, and excursions past the obvious property limitations are prohibited).A nearby boat access maintained by the conservation dept is available by the old Route 66 bridge at Hazelgreen, and the nearby Gasconade Hills Resort rents kayaks, canoes and rafts, in season. Referrals to local fishing guides are available, and it is a 30 min drive to the Niangua, and Bennet Springs Trout Hatchery.The Lake of the Ozarks amphitheatre is 40 min. Fort Leonard Wood is 15 minutes. Property is easily accessed from the 145 exit of HWY 44.
This is an ideal location for a group for fishing, kayaking and entertaining in summer. Come down and "Fish all day, and Party all night" at this unique setting.

Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed with a full mattress on bottom and a twin on top. You will be required to climb to get onto the top bunk.
The property on the riverside of the home, just beyond the lower patio railing is off limits to guests, and there is no river access from the property. Guests are not permitted to walk or drive beyond the back of the home due to a potentially dangerous hill, which leads to the river. Guests will be required to sign a separate lease and a Rules & Regulations document after booking the property.
