Snowline Cabin #10 This 2-story 2+bedroom 3/4-bath log home located directly across from the summer recreation area in the Snowline community says "cabin in the mountains!"
Make sure you pick the keys up before you go to the cabin. Cell connection is not reliable in the area.
Hi Rose: Thank you for your reviews for Cabin #10, and Cabin #25! You are absolutely correct; with a lack of cell service in our area, it is very important to pay close attention to the check-in instructions that are sent in advance. Otherwise, it could lead to a lot of unnecessary backtracking. We hope that you had an enjoyable stay at the two distinctly different cabins, and we would like to thank you for the neat and tidy way in which you left them upon departure. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to seeing you again the next time that your travel plans bring you back in our direction :) Happy trails, Dan
This place is not worth the price. It's not a real airbnb, but a rental company. It doesn't feel like a home with rule signs and religious propaganda on the walls. If you want to watch a movie, its a VCR only (LOL). Also, they charge a huge cleaning fee but expect the place to be…
Hi Heather: It appears that you had a less than desirable experience in family Cabin #10! As it states on the rental profile, there is no TV reception, but the cabin is equipped with a DVD player (not a VCR as you have described). There are signs posted about the cabin to assist guests with functionality and also remind them that community rules (with resulting fines) do apply. I have absolutely no idea what you're referring to as "religious propaganda", as nothing like that exists within the cabin. The Cleaning Fee is disclosed during the booking process and is not a surprise. We do ask you wash/dry/put away your dirty dishes, and start a wash load of soiled towels...that's about it. If you want to see what the Cleaning Fee covers, (e.g. what the housekeepers actually do) we have an extensive two page list that we are happy to e-mail you. Typically, there is not much for the guests to do unless, of course, they are treating the premises as a "party house", which is not the intended purpose of the family vacation homes that we represent. We are indeed a vacation rental agency, not a private owner. As our reviews attest, most folks seem to prefer the experience that we offer, such as warming-up/cooling down the properties in advance of guest arrival, setting outside lights for later arrivals, checking all systems to ensure proper operation, and being locally available to assist in the event of maintenance or other emergencies, versus owners who may live a great distance from their properties and and not be readily available to assist when the need arises. It sounds to me like you were expecting something unmonitored and different. That's not us, so we probably wouldn't be a good fit for you during future stays. Happy trails, Dan
WASHINGTON STATE: We're two hours north of Seattle, and 1 1/2 hours from Vancouver, BC. Our spaces are located near the mountain villages of Glacier and Maple Falls, at the magnificent gateway to the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest, and the adjacent Mount Baker Ski Area!
