Welcome to Lythgo's Row, our colonial cottages located in Pontville, just 30 minutes north of Hobart. With its convenient location in the heritage town of Pontville on the fringe of Hobart we are just a 5 minute drive from Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, fifteen minutes to the historic town of Richmond and its surrounding wineries and the jewel in Tasmania’s crown, MONA. Lythgo’s Row Colonial Cottages offers couples comfortable, lovingly restored cottages, in a circa 1845 heritage listed building.

Whether you want to find the right place for a weekend getaway or you're just looking for an overnight stay, we have everything you need for your next holiday.
With Mona, Richmond and Coal River Valley wine region only 15 minutes away and Hobart CBD and the Airport 30 minutes drive we are conveniently located to explore the best of what Southern Tasmania has to offer. If you want to make the most of the local vineyards while staying with us, we have luxury wine tours available in our 1988 Rolls Royce Silver Spur.

The Cottages are luxuriously appointed self-contained with kitchenettes, private bathrooms, sitting room, King size bedroom and dressing room. As the property was built circa 1845 the staircases are steep, so probably not suitable for those that can not walk unaided.

Pontville is a quaint village on the banks of the River Jordan with a plethora of Georgian houses dating back to the early 1800's. We have a Pub - The Crown Inn opposite and a great little restaurant Twelve Stones on the other side of the River Jordan.
Pontville is located just 30 minutes from Hobart City Center, 15 minutes from the world renowned MONA, 15 minutes from the historic village of Richmond and the Coal River Valley Wine Region. Hobart Airport is only 30 minutes drive from the Cottages.
